The Government in G.O. Ms.No.100 (H&FW Dept.) dated 14.05.03 has prescribed the minimum eligibility marks for admission into Medical/Dental /Para Medical Courses in Government/Unaided Non-minority/Unaided Minority Institutions as detailed below:

M.B.B.S & B.D.S

O.C:      Minimum of 60% marks in Biology or Botany and Zoology taken together.  60% marks in each of  Physics and  Chemistry. Aggregate should not be less than 140 out of 200

B.C:       Minimum of 60% marks in Biology or Botany and Zoology taken together.  60% marks in each of Physics and  Chemistry. Aggregate should not be less than 130 out of 200

M.B.C: Minimum of 55% marks in Biology or Botany and Zoology taken together.  55% marks in each of  Physics and  Chemistry. Aggregate should not be less than 120 out of 200

S.C:       Minimum of 40% marks in Biology or Botany and Zoology taken together.  40% marks in each of  Physics and  Chemistry. Aggregate should not be less than 80 out of 200

B.Pharmacy

All candidates except S.C and S.T , 50% of marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology

S.C: 40% of marks in aggregate in Science subjects as mentioned above

B.Sc. Nursing, B.P.T. and B.O.T    

Should have passed in Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Botany and Zoology in Academic stream.
